Welcome to Val Hotel

The almost unknown little hamlet of Val is about 50 minutes from Heidelberg in Gauteng and only a stone's throw from Greylingstad on the road to Standerton. It is only 160km or 90mins from OR Thambo International. It is surely one of the smallest, cleanest and most beautiful little towns on the highveld and with only 8 inhabitants, it is really worth a visit.

Val is an amazing venue for your country wedding. Get married in the The Church of St. Francis of Assisi, and have your reception in the quaint hotel.

The Hotel & Accommodation

Val Hotel has 12 rooms, 6 self-catering cottages and a backpackers, which sleeps 15. It can accommodate 42 or more guests and offers full catering by prior arrangement. The hotel has a cozy private pub, large fireplaces and spacious entertaining areas for functions, conferences, weddings and all celebrations of life. The small and beautiful thatched chapel further down the road is becoming a very popular wedding venue from where bridal pairs and their guests move to the Val Hotel for intimate country wedding receptions.
